States in the southeastern part of the U.S. are often at the bottom of the list for healthiest communities.

Some rural Tennessee towns are trying to reverse the trend by building a culture of health with the help of the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture.

Charles Denney from the UT institute Of Agriculture shows how partnerships are encouraging fitness and better nutrition, beginning in the classroom on AgDay above.
