Inputs Monitor Regional Market Report -- 1/7/2013

January 7, 2013 04:35 AM

Inputs Monitor Regional Index Composite .473 points lower week-over -- a 0.10% decline to 459.678. Prices moved generally lower, and even anhydrous fell. LP appears to be at or near a seasonal low, and warmer than expected temperatures allow farm diesel to fall slightly. MAP and UAN28 posted the only increases during the report week.

Anhydrous fell $0.25 to $881.66; UAN28 $1.25 higher to $375.33; UAN32 down an even two dollars to $417.66 and Urea falls $0.67 to $564.83.

DAP continues its downward trend -- $1.92 lower to $646.41; MAP increases $0.92 to $657.08.

Potash moves another $1.59 lower to $589.16 -- China made a purchase of 1 million tons at $400/ton signaling the international market may see more room to the lowside on K.

Farm diesel $$0.003 lower to $3.499 -- prices fell here as competition for the distillate supply softens on a forecast of warmer temperatures.

LP unchanged week-over at $1.441.
