The following is an excerpted press release from Iowa Secretary of Ag Bill Northey's office, alerting growers that LP, Natgas and Farm Diesel have hit seasonal lows, and have headed higher. (The report below refers to home heating oil, which is basically the same as farm diesel -- #2 Fuel oil.)
We have advised a closer look at Farm Diesel, Natgas and LP over the past three weeks, and Iowa Secretary of Ag Northey makes it clear the time is right to fill fuel needs for dryers and machinery. It might not be a bad idea to book heating fuel for your home and barns as well if you have yet to fill those.
