Window shopping for health insurance options on the federal HealthCare.gov website doesn’t require much personal information at all. That’s the assessment of Top Producer columnist and "U.S. Farm Report" on-farm commentator John Phipps in a new video for AgWeb.com.
Phipps, an Illinois farmer, wrote recently that fellow farmers should take a second look at the many options for affordable insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act—popularly known as Obamacare. Yet some are hesitant to do research on the site, Phipps says, because they worry they’ll have to divulge a number of personal data points.
