Kinze Expands Grain Cart Line, Develops Planter Prototype

October 30, 2017 08:20 AM

In addition to flotation and row crop tires, Kinze now offers Camso brand tracks on their 1105 (1,100-bu. capacity) and 1305 (1,300-bu. capacity) series dual auger grain carts. Tracks are also available on the 1051 (1,050-bu. capacity) single auger grain cart. Camso tracks offer greater durability, easier maintenance and reduced soil compaction. The dual auger grain carts also feature a new joystick to control four cart functions: tip spout, horizontal auger on/off, flow gate and auger tilt. The joystick can be retrofitted on existing dual auger Kinze carts. The 1105 and 1305 carts feature a 90-second unload speed and enhanced visibility and cleanout.

Kinze is working on a patent pending prototype 60' planter with a center pivot, 12' transport design. In most cases, a road permit is not required. Features include a 24" high parallel toolbar with cast push and pull row units and three-section flex frame. The planter can be used for 24-row, 30" corn and 15" soybeans. The timetable to introduce to market has not yet been determined.
