Kinze Manufacturing Facility to Open in Eastern Europe

Kinze Manufacturing, Inc. will open the company’s first overseas plant in Europe to produce its row-crop planters. Assembly is planned to begin in the fall at the location, for which welders, mechanics, CNC operators and other specialists will be hired.

The facility in Lithuania will serve a growing market that includes neighboring countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Hungary. Kinze representatives will provide education in engineering and production training in conjunction with local universities and professional schools and centers. It also will offer internships to students at the manufacturing facility.

Williamsburg, Iowa-based Kinze is a second-generation family-owned company. The manufacturer recently introduced its new 4900 planter, 4000 series row unit and all-new vacuum seed meter.
