Kinze Planters Target Productivity Gains

June 30, 2010 07:00 PM

According to Kinze, their expansion of the 3600 Series planters outfitted with Air Seed Delivery (ASD) is in direct response to dealer and grower requests.

The manufacturer introduces its 12-row and 16-row configurations of 3600 planters. Equipped with ASD, the planters have two 40-bu. poly hoppers for seed delivery to the individual row units. Kinze says these models with bulk-fill will increase a grower’s productivity.

The planters are built with a three-section frame featuring 14° flex up and down and have a stainless steel center post. The hydraulic weight transfer mechanism keeps the toolbar even and prevents the wings from lifting out of the ground.

Kinze EdgeVac vacuum seed metering or mechanical metering systems are available. And these models can be outfitted with Interplant row units.

The transport width of these models is 11’ 2”.

Planter monitor options include: KPM III, Kinze Cobalt, or Ag Leader Integra. The models are designed for contact drive, but can have hydraulic drive. Non-Interplant models are also available with front mounted fertilizer tanks.

Growers should visit their local Kinze dealer to find out how they can save $5,000 on an eligible 3600 Twin-Line planter with Air Seed Delivery.
