Kubota Tractor Corporation announces it has expanded its M-Series to include the M6S-111 diesel tractor. Senior product manager Kent Brown says this tractor is an ideal solution for performing a full range of cattle and hay tasks, loader work, mowing and more.
“The M6S-111 tractor is designed for the small- to mid-sized producer who values those important ‘big tractor’ luxuries and features, like the Kubota Swing Shift that delivers multiple speeds controlled by a single lever,” he says. “This new tractor fits perfectly into Kubota-s M-Series line of tractors. It is flexible enough for any job in the hayfield or pasture.
There are two four-wheel options – the M6S-111SHDC and M6AS-111SDSC – along with the two-wheel drive M6S-111SHC model. These models will replace the M108S in the series, Brown says.
Features include a V-3800 Tier 4 Final engine with a common rail fuel system, intercooler and exhaust gas recirculation. The “Swing Shift” F16/R16 transmission provides access to 16 speeds, with an optional creep for eight additional slower speeds. An ergonomic operator station includes front loader joystick control.
The M6S-111 models are rated at 114 HP (95 PTO HP) and works well with Kubota’s complete line of disc mowers, hay tedders, rakes and BV-Series balers, according to Brown.
