Kuhn Krause announces its CCX 9000 Cover Crop Seeder for use on the Excelerator Vertical Tillage System. Company officials say it allows farmers to establish a cover crop while performing vertical tillage.

From the tractor cab, the operator can use the Quantron S2 control monitor to calibrate in minutes. Seed settings can be saved for later.

The seeder can apply at rates between 1 and 385 lbs. per acre. The electrically driven metering unit handles a range of seeds and applications with an electronic speed signal from the tractor for consistent application rates. Seed depth can be easily adjusted by angling the seed distributor plates.

Kuhn Krause is taking orders now for delivery beginning in July 2017. For more information, visit www.KuhnNorthAmerica.com
