Land Sale of the Week: $10,100/acre in Northeast Iowa

A July 26 auction saw 79.5 acres in Black Hawk County, Iowa, bring $10,100 an acre. The farm was located 4 east of Waterloo. The tract featured 75 tillable acres offering a CSR2 of 87.5 compared to the county average cropland CSR2 of 70.0.

A second tract of 80 acres brought $4,000 an acre. That tract offered 58.5 tillable acres with a CSR2 of 78.8 with another 18 acres in pasture. The overall farm CSR2 was 62.7.

Handling the auction was Robert Regenwether, AFM, Farmers National Company, Hudson 319-998-3585.
