Land Sale of the Week: $10,375/acre in Northeast Indiana

A Jan. 24 auction saw a 60-acre parcel draw $10,375 an acre. An additional 20 acres also sold for $10,000 at the auction. The farm was located 2 miles southeast of Spencerville, Ind., in Allen County. Three tracts sold as a single unit of 60 acres, which included 51 tillable acres and 9 wooded acres. This tract brought $10,375 an acre. A fourth tract sold separately for $10,000 acres. It was all tillable.
