Land Sale of the Week: $12,012/a Eastern Nebraska

A multi-tract auction in eastern Nebraska on Feb. 23 saw 541 acres of mostly tillable, dryland cropland pass under the gavel for $7,050 an acre to $12,012 per acre. The ground is located in Lancaster and Cass couties, mostly south and east of Waverly. The top-selling parcel feature 80 total acres with 77 acres tillable. It brought $12,012 an acre. The second parcel contained 120 acres with 112 acres tillable. It sold for $7,050 per acre.

The third parcel featured 160 acres with 158 acres of cropland. It included a house and garage and sold for $8,906 per acre. The fourth parcel was 80 acres with 75 acres tillable. It sold for $7,900 per acre. A fifth parcel of 80 acres with 79 acres tillable sold for $9,575 an acre. The sixth and final parcel of 37 acres with 36 acres tillable sold for $8,013 an acre.
