Land Sale of the Week: $6,200/a in Southeast Nebraska

Early January saw a dryland cropland farm in southeast Nebraska sell for $6,200 an acre. The offering featured about 98 acres which were all terraced, the terraces were in good condition. The farm also included a machine shed in good condition and a few small buildings, but not farmhouse. The property was located on the north side of Nehawka in Cass County, south of Plattsmouth.

The farm had 77 total dryland cropland acres. The soils featured a SRPG (soil rating for plant growth) of 64.1. The remaining acres was in trees, wateryways and the shed and buildings.
