Oct. 7 saw strong demand for a 320-acre farm located in Boone County, Nebraska. The farm, which was offered as two square tracts of 160 acres each. It sold as a single unit for $8,200 an acre. The ground was located five miles southeast of Cedar Rapids. It featured a total of 311 acres of tillable cropland which averaged a SRPG of 61.5 (100 = maximum).
The offering was an irrigated farm. The first parcel included a well and a 2004 pivot irrigation system. The power unit, however, is owned by the tenant. The second parcel included a 2011 pivot and was eligible for a supplemental well.
