Land Sale of the Week: $9,000/a in Central Nebraska

September 3, 2015 09:10 AM

Mike Walsten

September 2 saw a strong auction for 157 acres central Nebraska. The farm was located nine miles north of Kearney in Buffalo County and had access to a paved road. The cropland was nearly all cropland. The tenant owned the pivot and the motor. The seller owned the 8" pump and gearhead.

Handling the auction was Gary Anderson, Farmers National Company, Kearney, 308-236-6110.

Any buyer premium on top of that 9000?

Sure...because a premium of 3, 4 or even 5% would make or break the cashflow of the purchase.
