The House budget plan introduced this week by Congressman Paul Ryan calls for $30 billion in cuts in farm programs over the next decade. But, in an exclusive interview with AgriTalk Radio's Mike Adams, House Agriculture Committee Chairman Frank Lucas said the $30 billion figure is "guidance." He added, "Guidance is the instructions my father gave me as a teenager that I did my best to follow, but I did what I did. Wink wink, nod nod."
