Machinery Journal: New Brand Expands Four-Wheel-Drive Options

Two versions of the Claas Xerion are now being sold in the U.S. The Trac model features a fixed center mounted cab, and the Trac VC features what the Xerion has become synonymous for, its rotating cab. Three packages are available with power levels from 422 hp to 517 hp. The prairie package is outfitted for air seeding and broad acre operations, while the forage package is best suited for silage, spreading and hauling. The standard package is a base tractor with full customization and option availability. The top 31-mph travel speed is standard on the 4500 and 4000 models and optional on the 5000 model.
