Machinery Pete does a lot of traveling to auctions, so he sees a lot of variety.

At a retirement auction in southeast Minnesota, he watched a 1972 Allis-Chalmers 220, two-wheel drive tractor sold for the highest auction price for that model.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s green, red, blue, or orange—if you take great care of your equipment, it will hold its value,” said Machinery Pete.
