Ready the Seedbed

For the final touch to the spring seedbed, three of Unverferth’s Perfecta Field Cultivators—models 10, 12 and 14—feature S-tine shanks and shovels. Working widths range from 4' to 9' in rigid models, 19'6" to 28' on a 12' base with folding wings and from 17'6" to 25'6" on a 9' base with folding wings. A tool-free, spring-pressure, adjustable leveling bar provides soil-finish tailoring.FJ 090 F14132 Rolling harrow baskets follow the leveling bar and are equipped with triple-lip protected, heavy-duty shielded bearings. A heavy-duty four-bar frame adds durability with three rows of staggered, high-clearance S-tines for full-width tillage. An underframe clearance of 20" and tine spacing of 18" features 1¾"x½" heavy-duty S-tines with 4" sweeps. Farmers can choose straight spiked teeth or round diagonal teeth on the leveling bar. Transmission Transition

Expanding its Maxxum tractor lineup, Case IH introduces three models with continuously variable transmissions (CVT), allowing for speeds up to 30 mph. The Maxxum 110 CVT features 90 PTO hp;FJ 090 F14132 pic 2 the Maxxum 120 CVT has 100 PTO hp; and the Maxxum 130 CVT features 110 PTO hp. The tractors are equipped with an active stop feature that allows the operator to stop the machine without pushing the clutch. This also applies to the foot throttle for use in hitching to implements. Power Boost is standard, adding up to 20 engine horsepower for PTO applications and mobile hydraulics. The cab enhancements include a headliner control bank with AC controls and slots for a radio and storage. A tinted rear window is included with the suspended cab, which is standard. Applicator Built for Big Jobs

The largest model in AGCO’s three-wheeled applicator fleet, the TerraGator TG9300B, is a model year 2015 machine that is available for the 2014 application season. This model, geared toward large farming operations, offers multiple dry application systems and the industry’s largest 2,400-gal. tank for liquid applications. The machine features a Benson Boom II center-pivot, boom-tree design. The Terra­Gator TG9300B has a Tier 4 Final-compliant 425-hp AGCO PowerFJ 090 F14132 engine, and features include new system hydraulics and cab upgrades, such as a reduced decibel level, optional leather air-cooled seat and a floating right-hand armrest. The machine is equipped to be steer-guidance ready and comes with a continuously variable transmission. The AgCommand data reporting and fleet management system is standard with a one-year Advanced Service subscription. Anhydrous Products Advance

Two products introduced by Raven Industries aim to help farmers apply anhydrous ammonia (NH3) in a shorter time frame. The AccuFlow Vortex is a single-cooler NH3 application system with a capacity in excess of 50 gal. per minute (gpm). The system features 25% more capacity than an existing dual-cooler system, comes preassembled and maintains a smaller footprint on the applicator toolbar than previous models. The AccuFlow HP+ system features the Vortex cooler and a dynamically controlled pump for capacity in excess of 80 gpm. Five expansion points offer maximum cooling, and a secondary relief valve allows operators to bleed the system in 20 minutes. Rethink Duals

Intending to improve upon a traditional dual setup for row-crop applications, the Extreme Flotation tires from Goodyear Farm Tires include the Goodyear Super Terra Grip XT 1000/40R32FJ 091 F14165 V1 and the Goodyear DT930 1100/45R46.
