FJ 058 F10455Frontier Equipment, a complete line of implements from John Deere, expands its product lineup with new corn heads, tillage equipment and hay tools.

The company offers two wide-row corn heads, the eight-row CH2208 and the 12-row CH2112 in 36" and 38" spacing. The corn heads feature an 18"-diameter cross auger. Reverse auger flighting lessens ear tossing and improves dry-trash feeding. Cleanout doors on each end of the corn head minimize the amount of time that operators spend cleaning under augers. Rugged gathering chains feature larger taller lugs, which significantly improve movement of the corn through the row units. Gathering chains need to be adjusted only once per season, reducing overall maintenance. Adjustable Perma-Glide points and deck covers are easy to fold up for better row unit access to improve serviceability and make trailer transport safer and easier.

The Frontier TM51 Series tandem disk harrow is available in operating widths from 18' to 32'. The disk harrow is manufactured of high-strength tubular steel and is available with 25"- or
28"-diameter disk blades. The TM51 Series features hydraulic folding wings, dual wheels for consistent disking depth and transport and oil-bath-tapered roller bearings with industrial grade seals. The TM51 is compatible with tractors in the 150 to 500 drawbar horsepower range.

Frontier Equipment offers two new hay tools, the RR23 Series rotary rakes and the BC1110 bale carrier. The high-capacity RR23 rotary rakes have larger diameter, 13-arm rotors that allow for a raking width of up to 24'. The rotary rakes are driven by a 540 PTO, and operators can easily adjust rotor cams to increase the aggressiveness of tines for wet crops. The RR23 rotary rakes can make one large windrow or two smaller windrows with their two 13-arm rotors, adjusting to variable crop conditions.

The BC1110 bale carrier offers a larger transporting capacity with room for up to 72"-diameter bales. Operators can transport ten 4'-wide bales or eight 5'-wide bales. In addition to loading efficiency, the bale carrier’s walking beam axle, which features larger flotation tires, provides a smoother transport.
