Machinery Journal: Utility Goes to Six Seats
An expansion of the three-seat Viking introduced in summer 2013, the Viking VI is made for off-road duty, boasting an Ultramatic fully automatic transmission, On-Command four-wheel-drive system and electric power steering. The Viking VI is powered by a 686-cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder, four-valve, fuel-injected engine. The workhorse can haul 600 lb. and sports a 1,500-lb. towing capacity. Built on a new frame, the Viking VI chassis features six secure and comfortable bucket seats with three-point seat belts and headrests and a walk-through cab design. Complementing cab comfort is an extended wheelbase, optimized all-wheel independent suspension with 8.1" of travel to absorb rough terrain and strong and natural feeling hydraulic disc brakes for secure stopping power. The Viking comes in a variety of colors. Base price: $11,499; Viking EPS models: $12,499.
