March 19 Livestock Slaughter Report Data Errors

Source: USDA

Issued March 20, 2015 by the Agricultural Statistics Board of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service.

The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) has discovered a data processing issue that caused multiple data errors in the March 19, 2015 Livestock Slaughter report. The March report, which contained February slaughter data, has been removed from the Internet and the parallel data removed from the Quick Stats database.

The February 19, 2015 report and data reflecting January information remain available on line. NASS will announce the re-release of the March Livestock Slaughter report as soon as it is available.

Note: Dairy Today has deleted its article based on yesterday's Slaughter Report.
