USDA’s Crop Progress report shows 52 percent of the nation’s corn is harvested in the top 18 producing states. That number is 75 percent for soybeans.
Some analysts say it may be a good idea to start to think about 2020, even if it seems far away.
“Some of our customers are just selling futures,” said Jim McCormick with AgMarket.net. “The other thing we are looking at using is the June short-dated options.”
