Back by popular demand, Case IH is announcing a new line of Maxxum series 2WD tractors, with several models ranging from 116 HP to 145 HP, according to company officials. Cole Carling, Case IH Maxxum tractor marketing manager, says these models feature efficient power, enhanced maneuverability and a tighter turning radius.
“We are excited to bring back 2WD capabilities to our Maxxum tractor lineup,” he says. “Removing the MFD feature reduces the purchase price, but still gives producers the dedicated horsepower to get the job done.”
Carling says the models will be especially appealing for hay and forage operations, vegetable production, dairy operations and other types of small-acreage mixed farms.
“It’s a best-in-class package perfect for pulling round balers, mower conditioners and specialty planters,” he says. “It’s also a great mower tractor for municipalities.”
Other features include FPT Selective Catalytic Reduction emissions technology, a SurroundVision cab with a high-visibility roof panel and smaller front wheels for an unobstructed, 360-degree view, plus available cab suspension.
