Minnesota Crop Tour Preview

August 8, 2017 03:22 PM

The Farm Journal Crop Tour is less than two weeks away, and scouts are keeping an eye on Minnesota.

John Peterson, a Minnesota farmer, said while his crops aren’t as good as what he saw in 2015, they’re similar to the 2016 crop.

“If we can get a little warmer weather than what we’ve had, that’s going to make a big difference,” said Mark Bernard, a Crop Tour scout and agronomist.

Hear what both Peterson and Bernard have to say about their expectations on the Minnesota corn and soybean crop on AgDay above.
