Molds to Mycotoxins

November 23, 2009 06:00 PM
Delays in the North American corn harvest have brought about concerns over mycotoxin contamination, particularly toxins produced by Fusarium molds including DON (vomitoxin), zearalenone, and fusaric acid.

For all the information you need to know about molds and mycotoxins, go to the Michigan State University site that has it all.

Alltech, makers of Mycosorb and Mold-Zap, has also established the ‘Mycotoxin Hotline.' The hotline, in addition to sponsorship of the website, is designed to provide producers and feed mill professionals a quick route to answers and a centralized point of access to references and industry experts. Call the Mycotoxin Hotline toll-free at 866-322-3484
