Farmers in Brazil will have another point of access for Intacta RR2 PRO technology. A recent agreement between owning-company Monsanto and licensee, DuPont means Brazilian farmers can buy from either of the two companies.

“The combination of technology, genetics and DuPont Dermacor seed treatment will help advance the productive of soybean growers while providing enhanced insect control and strengthening their integrated pest management practices,” says Alejandro Munoz, DuPont Pioneer vice president, global commercial business in a recent press release.

The agreement gives DuPont Pioneer a royalty-bearing license to Intacta RR2 PRO. The license will undergo review and approval by Brazilian regulatory authorities.
