NASCAR Teams up to Promote Food

September 16, 2016 12:32 PM

NASCAR fans are gearing up for a big race near Chicago over the weekend, and it is a great time to talk about food.

WinField, BRANDT, and the U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) are teaming up for the first-ever Let’s Talk Food event with NASCAR drivers Dakoda Armstrong and Justin Allgaier—who both grew up on farms.

All groups say the goal is to strike up a conversation between farmers and consumers about not only how food is produced, but also address questions about safety, sustainability and nutrition of the food farmers produce.

U.S Farm Report’s Tyne Morgan will be at the event.
