New Farm Journal Tax Columnist

You’ll notice a new face and name in this issue of Farm Journal as we kick off our new Tax Corner column, written by Darrell Dunteman. The well-known agricultural accountant and consultant is not a complete stranger. He has served farmers as an accountant for 38 years and previously wrote a column for Farm Progress since 1982.

As an Illinois farm boy, Darrell grew up on a diversified family farm near Effingham that had beef cattle and row crops in addition to a dairy. Today, based in Bushnell, Ill., he runs a high-touch, dirty boots consulting firm where he’s proud to work with farmer clients—some as long as 30 years.
