New Member of the Supervisory Board of Deutz Ag

The local court in Cologne, Germany, has appointed Michael Lichtenauer, an attorney based in Hamburg, to the supervisory board of Deutz Ag. Lichtenauer replaces Giuseppe Vita, who stepped down from the supervisory board on July 31, 2009.

Lichtenauer's fields of expertise as an attorney are company law, property law, investment law and inheritance law. He sits on various supervisory boards and advisory boards of German and U.S. companies. The court has made Lichtenauer's appointment time limited until Deutz's next annual general meeting on May 6, 2010.
