There’s still time to nominate someone for the annual award that recognizes progressive dairy producers.

Know a dairy producer who is achieving efficiency on the farm through innovative management practices, production efficiency technologies and/or marketing approaches? Whose farm is positioning itself to meet future economic and business challenges? Who demonstrates leadership to his or her peers?

Nominations are now being accepted for the Innovative Dairy Farmer of the Year, an annual award co-sponsored by the International Dairy Foods Association and Dairy Today magazine to recognize progressive dairy producers.

The deadline for nominations has been extended to Sept. 23, 2013, and there is no entry fee. Complete award criteria and a nomination form are available here.
