NWS 6-10 Day: Cooler Across Upper Midwest

The National Weather Service forecast for April 17-21 calls for below-normal temps across the Upper Midwest, much of Iowa and much of the eastern Corn Belt, which lowers the chances of a timely start to spring planting. But the forecast calls for above-normal precip across the Central and Southern Plains, which if realized, would provide timely moisture to the developing wheat crop.
