NWS 6-10 Day: Drier Conditions Headed to Northern Plains and Western Corn Belt

The National Weather Service forecast for May 8 through 12 calls for below-normal precip across the Northern Plains and western Corn Belt, while above-normal precip is expected in Indiana and Ohio, as well as the far Southern Plains. Illinois is expected to see normal precip. Meanwhile, cooler-than-usual conditions are expected across Nebraska, Iowa and southern Illinois southward, while the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest and eastern Corn Belt are expected to see normal temps.
