May 14, 2013 10:40 AM

The National Weather Service 6- to 10-day outlook for May 20 to May 24 is not favorable for planting progress in some areas of the Corn Belt. The bulk of North Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa as well as northwest areas of South Dakota, Nebraska and northern Missouri are expected to see below-normal temps. Plus, above-average precip chances are in the forecast for much of the upper Midwest and eastern Corn Belt.
