NWS Forecast: Above-normal Temps for Two-thirds of Corn Belt

The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast for July 15-19 shows above-normal temps from the eastern halves of Iowa and Minnesota eastward. The remainder of the Corn Belt is expected to see normal temps during the period.

The precip outlook is a mixed bag with above-normal rainfall expected over northern Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, extreme northern Iowa, Minnesota and the eastern halves of the Dakotas. A bubble of below-normal precip is expected over most of Missouri, southwest Iowa, Kansas and southern and central Nebraska. The remainder of the region is forecast to see normal precip during the period.
