Remember the word Optimum. It's the brand name for a new family of traits, products and accompanying programs from Pioneer Hi-Bred, a DuPont business. Optimum brand Innovations is full moniker for the input solution package.
"Through Optimum brand Innovations, Pioneer will provide unique, value-added products and services to meet individual grower's needs and maximize crop potential," says Terry Gardner, director, North American product marketing for Pioneer.
Individual traits and programs carry unique brand names beneath the Optimum brand umbrella to allow for differentiation and identification of traits and programs. Optimum GAT herbicide tolerance trait, offering flexibility in weed control is one of the first generation Optimum brand Innovations.
Another offering will be Optimum AcreMax1 insect protection, a higher-yielding system that with regulatory approval will reduce the size of corn rootworm refuge and combine the refuge within the bag. Future brands will include product advancements from the Pioneer proprietary pipeline of input traits.
