Precision Planting has announced the details of the 2009 Summer Corn Conference. It will be held July 28 to 31 in Tremont, Ill. This biennial event includes hands-on demonstrations and analysis of the latest technology and resources for corn production.
The conference allows attendees to attend one of the four offered days for a general session with all 400 attendees and small group breakout sessions to discuss current agronomic issues affecting high-yield corn production. Precision Planting will also be unveiling new products at the conference.
The breakout sessions and discussions will include:
- Scouting field plot trials
- Live planting demonstrations
- An 8' deep by 40'wide "root pit"
- Corn plant health
- Performance across different tillage practices
- Field conditions
- Planting situations
