Precision Planting Announces Details of the 2009 Summer Corn Conference

Precision Planting has announced the details of the 2009 Summer Corn Conference. It will be held July 28 to 31 in Tremont, Ill. This biennial event includes hands-on demonstrations and analysis of the latest technology and resources for corn production.
The conference allows attendees to attend one of the four offered days for a general session with all 400 attendees and small group breakout sessions to discuss current agronomic issues affecting high-yield corn production. Precision Planting will also be unveiling new products at the conference.
The breakout sessions and discussions will include:
  • Scouting field plot trials
  • Live planting demonstrations
  • An 8' deep by 40'wide "root pit"
  • Corn plant health
  • Performance across different tillage practices
  • Field conditions
  • Planting situations
