Corn yield range: 79 bu. per acre to 241 per acre

Corn yield average: 157 bu. per acre

“Clear heat and dryness stress is showing up Districts 8 and 9 in Nebraska. Irrigated corn is holding up well. I’m hearing better corn yields north of us on other routes—some averaging 200 bu.-plus.”

Soybean pod count range (in a 3’x3’): 665 pods to 1,576 pods

Soybean pod count average (in a 3’x3’): 893 pods

“Soybeans will need another drink to make current yield potential.”
