Pro Farmer Prepares to Kick of Their 2010 Tour

August 12, 2010 05:50 AM

Want the opinions of seasoned veterans on this year's Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour? Crop tour leaders Chip Flory, Terry Johnston, Roger Bernard and Mark Bernard are back for the 2010 tour to provide their exclusive opinions of what they find in the fields and how it adds up.

Starting early Monday, Pro Farmer Editor Chip Flory and Crop Tour consultant Terry Johnston will lead the western tour through South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota while Pro Farmer News Editor Roger Bernard and Crop Tour consultant Mark Bernard lead the eastern tour through Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota. The tour concludes Thursday evening in Austin, Minnesota.

Each tour leader will be filing their own reports at the end of the day throughout the course of the week on what they found on that day's corn and soybean surveys and what it all potentially means for the final Crop Tour estimate scheduled for release Friday morning.
