QLF Opens Clovis, NM Liquid Feed Plant

Quality Liquid Feeds, Inc. (QLF) is proud to announce their new Clovis, New Mexico liquid feed manufacturing plant. With this expansion, QLF will increase the ability to serve our growing dairy and beef producer customers. Construction for the facility began in August 2011 and was completed in January 2012.
Cory Berg, President and CEO of Quality Liquid Feeds would like to announce Vance Cash and John Land, our local QLF Salesmen for the area and Jason Brawley as the Plant Manager for this new facility.
From this location, QLF will service primarily the states of Texas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Utah. This manufacturing plant follows FDA guidelines and is FCI certified and Safe Feed/Safe Food certified through AFIA (American Feed Industry Association). With these certifications, third party agents inspect the plant and assure specific manufacturing procedures are in place.
Flexibility and efficiency are focuses for this facility located in Curry County. A combination unloading facility with the ability to unload by truck and rail, give a great deal of flexibility for receiving a wide assortment of ingredients. The plant has 52 finished feed load out tanks and 25 ingredient tanks with total manufacturing capacity of 150,000 tons annually.
Products manufactured from this facility will service the dairy, cow/calf, feedlot as well as texturized and pelleted feeds markets. This facility will also act as a molasses storage facility for sale of molasses as an ingredient to third parties and trans-loading molasses for use at other QLF facilities.
