Case IH welcomes two 20 Series machines and a trio of 88 Series harvesters to its growing family of Axial-Flow combines.
For the first time, the manufacturer introduces a Class IX combine, the Axial-Flow 9120. This machine has 483 rated hp, 523 maximum hp and a 350-bu. grain tank. For greater flotation, the 9120 and the 8120 (420 rated hp and 350-bu. capacity) can be outfitted with Quadtrac track systems on the front axle. Another new machine in the 20 Series family of combines is the 7120, which has 360 rated hp and 315-bu. grain tank. The Series features standard 21' unload augers or optional 24' augers that provide an unload rate of 3.2 bu. per second.
The 88 Series features three models, all powered by Cummins engines. The 5088 combine provides 265 rated hp, 290 maximum hp and 250-bu. grain tank capacity. The 6088 has 305 hp of harvesting muscle with 330 maximum hp and 300-bu. onboard grain storage. The largest combine in the 88 Series is the 7088, which boasts 325 rated hp, 375 maximum hp and 300-bu. grain tank capacity.
Both combine series can be matched with Case IH 3400 Series corn heads in 8- or 12-row models or 2000 Series grain headers. The optional stalk chopping MagnaCut is also available.
