Researching Irrigation Preservation in Louisiana

A hot and dry May has caused many farmers in Louisiana to begin irrigating their crops.

Using more irrigation and draining down the aquifers in the Pelican State are causing some problems.

As a result, researchers from the Louisiana State University AgCenter are looking at how they can preserve and use water in the most sustainable way.
