Rhino's New Flex-Wing Rotary Cutters Slice Deep

The newly introduced seven-model Rhino Flex-Wing cutters feature a unique blade pan carrier with a patent-pending stump jumper. A new gearbox features more torque with the same amount of horsepower—between 50 and 70 PTO hp is required, depending on the model.

The pivot hitch features a unique locking clevis device for easier hook-up. A smooth dome deck sits above a larger cutting chamber and results in less clutter and ease of cleaning. Three deck styles are available with cutting widths of 126" or 180": Apex, Epic and Icon. Select models can clear brush between 4" and 5" in diameter.

Click the play button below to watch Randy Webb, product marketing manager, explain additional features of the Rhino Flex-Wing cutters:

The independent suspension has no moving parts, while the safety cover provides fast access for maintenance. Self-leveling height adjustment is performed with a hydraulic cylinder. The machines run quieter than previous models. The tire treads are designed in the shape of a rhino’s hoof.
