Soil Density Management Improves Corn Root Growth

Establishing good soil structure in your fields can enable corn roots to move more deeply into the soil profile and access any available moisture during the late summer months of July and August, when water is often scarce. In the following video, Associate Field Agronomist Missy Bauer shows some of the problems you can encounter from poor soil density and how that issue impacts root development.
