South Dakota Corn Production Guide Available

An updated and enhanced guide, "Best Management Practices for Corn Production in South Dakota” is now available. South Dakota State University released the guide to help its states' farmers profit during changing times.
 
The guide contains 16 chapters on various corn-production topics, such as:
  • Corn Hybrid Selection
  • Soil Fertility
  • Irrigation and Salt Management
  • Recordkeeping
  • Weeds and Herbicide Injury in Corn
  • Corn Calendar and Troubleshooting Guide
 
A limited number of printed copies are available at no cost from South Dakota county Extension offices. You can also download the guide from the link below.
