15 million songs for your listening pleasure, with social sharing features ingrained.
Potential Uses/ Testimonial:
Never be without your favorite songs – plug in to your pickup, combine or tractor’s stereo via USB or send the signal to your FM radio via FM transmitter and you’ll be enjoying music wherever you go. Free app, $9.99/month subscription fee.
Pros: Great song selection, syncs with desktop software, share songs with friends directly or through social media channels. Spotify is getting better at new music discovery with several applications available for the desktop client. Songs don’t take up storage space on your desktop or smart phone. No more scratched/broken/stolen CDs!
Cons: $10 a month is a turn-off for some people, but when you think about the cost of one CD on iTunes costing nearly $15, it’s not such a bad deal. They limit the amount of songs that play instantly (without buffering) to a couple thousand on the phone app. You can’t burn CDs to listen when you can’t use your smartphone or are away from your computer.
