Sukup Expands with Drag Conveyor Line

June 12, 2009 10:58 AM

Sukup Manufacturing Company unveils a new line of drag conveyors for use in both farm and commercial operations. The drag conveyors are designed with heavy-gauge, galvanized steel construction to sustain exposure to the extreme environments on farms and grain elevator sites. Dust-proof and weather-tight covers protect grain and the inner components of the conveyor system. ½" UHMW flights prevent steel-to-steel contact.

The roller chain on Sukup Drag Conveyors is engineered for each conveyor to maximize working load and prolong system life. Head shafts are turned, ground and polished and shaft seals are ¼" thick UHMW. The shaft, sprocket and bearings can be removed as one piece.

Sukup Drag Conveyors are available in 12", 16" and 21" widths and 9", 13" and
17" depths. Conveyor speed ranges from 100 ft/min to 180 ft/min. Sukup Drag
Conveyors offer capacities ranging from 1875 bu/hr. to 14,224 bu/hr (based on 45 lbs/ft).
