Business leaders in food and agriculture are invited to attend the Sustainable Brands ’18 conference June 4-7 in Vancouver. The event brings together more than 3,000 attendees, 75% of whom are decision-makers, from global brands such as Amazon, DanoneWave, Ford, Google, Kellogg Company, Nestle, PepsiCo and Walmart for interactive dialogue, networking and keynote presentations on improving brands’ social and environmental impact.
At the heart of the event lies the Activation Hub, in which companies showcase the innovations they are bringing to the marketplace to advance sustainability. The Activation Hub features daily moderated conversations -- or Innovation Labs -- aimed at showcasing best practices and identifying new opportunities to advance sustainability in categories such as food, agriculture, apparel, household goods, logistics and technology.
This year’s theme, “Redesigning the Good Life,” will showcase some of the new models and strategies companies are using to integrate sustainability more fully into their daily operations. More than 300 presenters are expected to speak over the course of the four-day event.
Farm Journal Media and Trust In Food will participate as media partners, having covered issues such as farm-level greenhouse gas emissions and the rapidly changing food values of consumers at the 2017 conference.
