What A Day: Left! No, Your Other Left!
In a hurry to get to shelling, this farmer moved the irrigation the wrong direction and right into his combine.
If you’ve had one of those days—or captured someone else’s—we’d love to share it with our readers. Email images to email@example.com or hashtag #FJWhatADay on Twitter and Instagram.
Seeds of Gratitude
To celebrate the wholesome food that feeds our nation and the farmers who grow it, Culver’s is sponsoring 19 “Thank You Farmers” mazes across the country. More than 5.36 million corn and sunflower seeds were used in the effort.
“Culver’s is passionate about creating ways to say thank you to farmers, letting them know that their hard work is appreciated,” says Jessie Corning, senior marketing manager. “We’re excited our guests across the nation can join us in showing gratitude by visiting these mazes.”
To date, the Thank You Farmers initiative has raised nearly $1 million in support of the National FFA Organization and Foundation, local FFA chapters and a variety of local agricultural organizations.
