62% of farms have Internet access. 38% of those have DSL.

They’re All Business

37% use a computer for farm business.

56% watch videos on this social site.

Are You Well “Liked”?

40% use Facebook up to 1 hour per week.

They Aren’t Prejudiced

35% conduct business with nonagricultural websites too.

Oregon Is the Hot Spot

80% of farmers in the state have a computer with Internet access, the highest of all 50 states.

Tweet What?

77% of users don’t use Twitter.

They Look Before They Speak

Of those farmers who use a social site, the majority just watch. Only 25% put up posts of their own.

The ‘Mullet Theory’ Applies

Their computers might be all business in the front, but they’re a party in the back. 68% of farmers are on a social site.
